Maundy Thursday Feast
The evening of the last supper at Jerusalem. Jesus washes the feet of his disciples and gives the commandment the day is named for - John 13:34, that you love one another - then goes out to Gethsemane. Its colour is white, not the violet of Lent.

Jerusalem is the holiest city in Judaism and Christianity, central to the biblical narrative. King David captured it and made it his capital, and his son Solomon built the First Temple there.
